Pop songs are the easiest to learn as a beginner; then you can move up to learning Rock songs. The rock music genre is vast. There are many great songs of different levels when it comes to playability. As you get more used to listening to Rock, you'll start finding guitar playing a lot more fun and will gradually discover genres of Blues, Country and other genres relatively. Beginner level classical pieces of music also help you with developing the classical genre. You can google "beginner level classical guitar songs (or) pieces." I hope this helps. Hi Dixit, if you are a beginner, then I recommend going for an acoustic guitar which costs around 5k or a little more but not as much as 15k. As you get more used to listening to Rock, you'll start finding guitar playing a lot more fun and will gradually discover genres of Blues, Country and other genres relatively.
