Ajay Kumar Kar

I have over twelve years of experience in teaching Maths. I hold an MSc in Maths and am pursuing my PhD from NIT. In 2017, I was a guest lecturer at Jamshedpur Co-Operative College and BA College of Engineering & Technology. The following year, I joined NIT as an Assistant Professor, where I have been teaching Maths to B.Tech students. I also run my coaching classes, where I have the pleasure of guiding and mentoring over twenty students from different schools.
Teaching has always been my passion, and I have had the opportunity to work in various esteemed institutions throughout my career. I specialise in teaching Maths to twelfth-grade students and those pursuing BSc, BTech, and MSc and preparing for IIT JEE exams. I offer offline and online classes, with timings from 4 PM to 10 PM, to cater to the diverse needs of my students.
My classes are known for their interactive nature, involving regular assignments and tests to ensure my students grasp the concepts thoroughly. In addition to my physical classes, I also manage a YouTube channel called "thescientist.com," where I share my insights and knowledge in Maths with a broader audience. I believe in making complex concepts simple and easily understandable for my students, and my channel serves as a valuable resource for those seeking additional support in their Maths studies.
My teaching methodology is focused on creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment where students are encouraged to participate in discussions and ask questions actively. I believe in fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills among my students, empowering them to excel in their academic pursuits. One of my strengths as an educator is my prompt and regular feedback on assignments and tests. I provide personalised attention to my students, identifying their strengths and weaknesses and guiding them accordingly. My dedication and commitment to my students' success have earned me a reputation as a highly respected and sought-after Maths teacher.
