Teaching Experience in detail in Flute Classes

Hi, I am Avirup Bhattacharya and I have been playing flute for last 6-7 years. I was fortunate enough to become an integral part of Vrindaban Gurukul Mumbai. When I was Mumbai, I used to take classes from Pandit Vivek Sonar ji, who is the senior most disciple of Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia. I have attended couple of "Bansuri Utsav" programs in Mumbai, which is a very prestigious cultural event conducted by Vrindavan Gurukul. I am absolutely blessed of having guruji like Vivek ji. When I came back to Kolkata I used to take Sessions from Ashok Kumar Karmakar sir who is also a senior and renowned flutist in Kolkata and an active member of All India Radio. I feel I am still a learner but at least I can help other students who are still struggling to play flutes or want to understand the basics of it. About the Course - I will teach you the techniques to play Indian Bamboo flute and sargams what you can practice. Once you are okay with the flow, I can teach you some basic Raagas like Bhupali, Durga or Yaman. I will also guide you to play few famous/popular bollywood songs (if want to try something).
