For over three decades, Kajal Hazra has been one of the finest exponents of Kalaripayattu. Trained under Guru C.V.N. Satyanarayan Nair for 3 years in Kerala, he has carried the legacy forward and is today one of the pioneering Kalaripayattu gurus in India and many other countries.

Having worked with world famous choreographers during his involvement with theatre and dance for over 30 years, Kajal has won many awards and accolades. He has enthralled audiences at prestigious dance festivals and television programs all over the world.

He has been dedicatedly teaching his craft to thousands of students in various schools, colleges, and other institutions, as well as in his own workshops conducted in many countries. He is the co-founder of the dance company Rig Veda which trains about 5000 students across India and abroad. He is also a guest faculty at Rabindrabharati University and presently associated as a senior faculty in Bikram Ghosh Academy for performing Arts.

We are lucky to have a master of his craft like Kajal Hazra as our Zumba Dance instructor. Under his guidance, Zumba classes at Vibgyor Academy of Arts promise to be lots of fun and learning at the same time.
