Hi, I am Merryl Joe from Calicut, Kerala. I hold a Master's Degree in Mathematics from University of Calicut, Kerala in the year 2020. I started tutoring Maths for students from 10th standard to B.A & B.Sc. levels since my Post Grad. days. This piqued my interest in learning and identifying different methods to teach Maths.
Just after my master's completion, the pandemic happened which changed all our 'normals' into new normals. Change was difficult initially, from face-to-face physical classrooms to online-rooms and meetings. But along with that, it brought immense opportunity to explore and connect with students and parents all over India from this platform 'UrbanPro'.
"A Malayali tutor teaching Maths to students from Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata & Assam" (well these were the States my students are from!) apart from my home state Kerala was new and a refreshing experience for me.
With 3 years of my tutoring experience, I came by meeting students with varying needs towards the subject- Maths. Unfortunately, the majority of students feel stressed out and face feeling anxiety when they have to deal with the subject.
