Banaras Hindu University (BHU) conducts BLAT exam (an undergraduate law entrance exam) every year for admission to five-year/10 semesters law programme – B.A. LL.B. (Honors). Faculty of Law Banaras Hindu University is considered as one of the top law colleges in India. BLAT (BHU) is one of the popular law entrance exams in India including CLAT, AILET, CU CET, SET, BVUCET, IPU CET and ULSAT. Inspiring law students can sit for the test on meeting set BLAT eligibility criteria. Admission to the B.A. LL.B. (Honors) programme shall be finalized based on the BLAT exam merit list.
Eligibility Criteria for BLAT Exam 2015
BLAT Entrance Exam Educational Qualification:
a) Must have passed Senior Secondary School (10+2) or equivalent, from a recognized board/University of India/Outside
b) Minimum marks to be secured – Gen: 50%, OBC: 45% and SC & ST: 40%, in the qualifying exam
c) Students appearing the final year exam of the Qualifying Exam are also eligible to appear in the Test
d) Students who have obtained 10+2 through open Universities System directly without having any basic qualification for prosecuting such studies shall not be eligible for admission to 5-year B.A. LL.B

BLAT Test 2015 Application Procedures
Applicants can submit their application online by visiting http://bhuonline.in/. The entire application submission process for admission in B.A. LL.B. (Hons) (10-Semesters/5-years course) is made ONLINE. To apply, candidates need to register on the Entrance Test Portal of BHU. Applicants can visit BHU website www.bhu.ac.in or BHU entrance test portal http://bhuonline.in/ for more information.
Mode of Payment
Candidates who are submitting the application form online, need to make pay online via Credit/Debit card through the gateway made available on the Entrance test portal.
BLAT Exam 2015 Pattern
The BLAT law entrance test 2015 consists of a single paper of 120 minutes (2 hours) duration carrying a total marks of 450. The paper consists of 150 multiple-choice questions testing a candidate’s General Awareness & Current Affairs, Mental Ability and Legal Aptitude. The paper will also include multiple choice questions on English including comprehension.
BHU holds full rights to reject an application, decide on the number of seats, cancel exam center/centers or make changes in admission procedures.
