The institute provides in-depth training in Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) systems. Generating 2D/ 3D models and CNC programmes through high end CAD/CAM software like MASTERCAM, for 3-Axis, 4-axis, 5-axis machining centers are dealt with. Participants generate the tool path and post process the same suitable to a particular 3-Axis, 4-axis, 5-axis machines and CNC System combinations like FANUC and SINUMERIC. The output is CNC part program. Hands on exposure will be given on a CAM system and for part cutting on a machining center. The course provides demonstrations on multi axis (5 axis) machining centers and turning centers. The institute also has the facility for simulation of CNC programs for better understanding and learning of students.
