I understand your concern about your son. But as a kid, it's evident of him to be that way.
Start slow Start with the minor things. Give him something that makes him excited or the things that he is into. Observing your kids is very important to know what they are interested in. Nowadays, kids can sit with their phones for hours. Have you ever wondered why? It's all because they are very curious to know each and everything that they see, it's thier age to learn.
So what I suggest is to make learning enjoyable that will be useful to gain your kids' patience.
