I learned to play chess moves by using a book called Your first move by Alexai Sokolsky. I have played in tournaments in the blitz format. I play with computers on the net alongside real players  live at chess.com where l have been a member for more than 10 years.

I have been following all the games since the days of Viswanathan Anand who was India's first GM. I am a great fan of Bobby Fischer and Garry Kasparov. I used to practice at a chess club frequented by rated players. My favourite defence is the sicilian and favourite opening variation queen gambit declined. I hope to explain the nuances of the opening, middle and end games. Check out the profile section for the illustration of the course.
