One day I decided to take vocal lessons (casually). You know, like a stress relieving activity after work. Little did I know what I was getting into. My life has taken 180 degree turn there after. And won't recommend him if music is just a hobby for you because his extensive methods and rigorous practice is not for the weak hearted which comes with a lot of strictness. Personally I liked his teaching methodology and it works quite in my favor. "

He approaches his students as a mentor for them and takes initiatives to guide them on not just singing, but also on enriching them with knowledge around the subject. "Dilan Sir is always open to what the student wants to learn. He is a really good singer, works in the industry himself and has so much knowledge to start with but he never forces us to learn all that stuff. He believes that one should be capable and ready enough to learn all that. He starts with basics and makes his students do riyaaz daily. He's really sweet but can get strict at times when one doesn't do the exercise given to them. He's picky about students too so you better be really compassionate to learn music if you're coming to learn from him. "
