What is 'this' in C++?

This is a pointer variable that holds the address of the current object within memory. It can be used in nonstatic functions.

Why do we use the continue statement in C?

The continue statement in C programming allows the control of execution to be passed to the next iteration of the loop. The statements written after the continue statement are not executed if the continue is executed.

Should I learn C or C++ socket programming?

Well of course, go through C first. Then C++. Then if you wish socket programming in any of these. If you intend to learn socket programming in C, you may ignore C++.
