Introduction to Trigonometry Class 10
“There is perhaps nothing which so occupies the middle position of mathematics as trigonometry.” – J.F Herbart. The branch of mathematics that studies the relationship between angles of triangles and side lengths is trigonometry. We use this mathematical study when we want to find the distance or height. It is derived from the Greek word ‘trigon’ and ‘metron’, which mean, ‘triangle’ and ‘measure’, respectively.
