Hi Supriya,
It all depends on what you want to pursue in life. You haven't mentioned your profile in which you worked in the insurance domain. It is always better to build upon your existing experiences to advance your career. You can pursue courses specific to your previous experience like sales, marketing, finance, actuary, and so on.
Or you can try starting a new career altogether.
Python, as a computer language, is merely a tool for your skill development. Like two different persons can deliver widely different results using the same set of tools, same is the case with Python.
Building upon our existing career: You can analyse data (data science), create reports (visual charts), forecast trends (sales, premium collection), using Python language. It will give you an edge over your peers as you will be the only one with such skills.
Starting a new career: You must decide what you want to do. One can be a programmer, an analyst, and so on.
We wish you all the best on whichever path you embark upon.

Hi Priya,
It is indeed possible to acquire Machine Learning skills, post your financial acumen. We will suggest using Python as your choice for the application of Machine Learning. This is because Python is a high-level language, which will be easy to grasp for a no-technical person.
At Ethan's tech, we offer the industry-leading course on Machine Learning.
