Course Content :

All of our courses are unique and flexible, placing emphasis on what each individual student needs in order to develop their technical ability and practical experience as a musician. We always place emphasis on the need to perform and our students gain varied experience in solo performance, session playing, accompaniment skills and playing in a band.

The tabla is a South Asian membranophone percussion instrument (similar to bongos), consisting of a pair of drums, used in traditional, classical, popular and folk music. It has been a particularly important instrument in Hindustani classical music. At Urban Raga our course provides a step-by-step introduction to all the basic concepts of Taals and performance examples.

Regular Music Program Focusing on mainly only on lesson/exam book(Practical) and performance songs. Aural, Scales as per syllabus - Grade-wise- only for exam purpose. Our music program includes Theory, Technical exercise and music composition is not included. Student can Appear for exam when ready.
