This course is meant for kids of age 8+ where they will learn to make animations, games and stories through block based coding.

Scratch is a block based programming language designed by MIT labs to cater the needs of kids. 

This course is for beginners that means it doesn't require any prior knowledge of coding. I will teach everything from beginning. 

Programming improves logical thinking, how to approach or solve a problem step by step, mathematical skills, reasoning ability, how to divide a problem into sub problems etc. 

It is a kids friendly program that means kids will learn through play. 

At the end of course, child will be familiar with basic constructs of coding e.g.

variables, if-else, for loop

mathematical operations e.g. addition, subtraction, multiplication, division

how to work with random numbers

how to use strings

At the end of course, kids will have to make a small project depending upon their interest
