Since 7 and 8th year has come in the level of performance, the number of classes cannot be fixed.
Monthly fees may vary according to class duration and practice sessions.
concert observation is a must for performance-level students
students must hear one hour of concert daily.
performance opportunities are given to students in India and Singapore
Abroad performance opportunities are subject to Availablity and conditions

Vighneshwaran

M.Phil Music from Madras University in 2004 and Maths from Vivekananda College in 2015

7 Years of Experience

ROOTS
Guru K R Vighneshwaran has undergone intense training in Mridangam from Sri Thiruvarur Bakthavatsalam for the past 15 years and has also learnt Carnatic Vocal from Sri Sreyas Narayanun (disciple of Sri P S Narayanaswamy). He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda College, (Mylapore, India). He has worked in the corporate world; however, has chosen his passion for playing the Mridangam as his career.

ARTISTIC ACHIEVEMENTS
Since childhood, Guru Vighneshwaran has won prizes in many sabhas and inter-school cultural competitions. Apart from earning the title of “Yuvashree Kala Bharathi” from his school, he has also participated in various large concerts such as the World Record Mrudanga Yagna, held at Poojya Shree Ganapathi Sachidananda Swamiji Ashram with 108 Mrudanga Vidwans (Mysore, India), in the Sangeetha Nadha Vaibhavam, comprising of 5700 Musicians and in the 76-Mrudanga Yagna held at the Kanchi Kamakoti Mutt in commemoration of the 76th Birthday Celebration of Jayandra Saraswathi Swamigal.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
Guru K R Vighneshwaran has 8 years of teaching experience, of which, for the last 3 years, he has been teaching at Syama (Singapore) and 1 year at SIFAS (Singapore).
