0Cool Color scheme & Warm Color scheme.
How to create balance with one another in a design.
1) On a sheet of paper of size A4, draw two equal-sized rectangles with a gap of about 1 cm between the two rectangles.
2) In each rectangle, compose a design inspired by nature or any other theme you like. It could be abstract shapes as well. Make overlapped divisions.
3) Colour the first rectangle with a cool colour scheme: viz. Blue, Green, Blue-Purple (bluish purple) and shades thereof. But colour some elements (about 10% of design) in Warm colours - viz—Yellow, Orange, Red, Red-Purple (reddish-purple) and shades thereof.
4) Now, while colouring in the 2nd rectangle, do vice versa.
i. e. 90% warm colours balanced with 10% cool colours.
