Confidence

I have heard many people say that they lack confidence do talk on stage or to do something. It's very normal to be nervous before some event like interview, public speaking etc but one should not let that nervousness reduce a person's confidence. So what to do to overcome his problem? Below are few key tips

1.Preparation:

When one is prepared thoroughly he/she will experience less nervousness and can be more confident. Nothing can replace preparedness. So prepare well, may it be for an interview, a sales call or a speech.

2. SWAT:

Even after being prepared well and knowing what to do, still some people may feel low on confidence. May be they have stage fear. This happens because you may feel awkward about doing something wrong in front of someone right?

This is the mantra which can change your thought. SWAt stands for "So What Attitude" . Keep asking this question to yourself whenever you feel something will go wrong. So what if I do something silly and people laugh? So what if I feel a little awkward? I'm sure you will reach a point which makes you feel that you were overthinking and start feeling positive.

Hope this has helped you build confidence in yourself. All the best.
