For a Promotion Interview, What all Tranings are required ? I am interested to join immediately and need to complete in 2 weeks.

Hi Kotesh. Preparation for a Promotional Interview must include the practice of your Communication Skills Good Command over English, and the regional language of the work area is. Besides that, Confidence and Good Research done beforehand for the particùlar product. Research skill is also an essential part of an impressive personality. For a promotion interview following are the key points which are to be kept in mind while preparing or facing the interview:
1.) A dashboard of the achievements in the current role with real stories which highlights your skillset as well as the impact on the team, deliverables, organisation
2.) Skill of coaching, mentoring the team members needs to be stand out in your dashboard and interview
3.) Create a high-level plan ( road map) for major deliverables, the vision of the new role which you can share during the interview and highlight the mapping of your talent/skillset to achieve that road map
4.) Create some references from the internal stakeholders who can vouch for your work ethics, competency and performance so far.
5.) Articulate well, quantify your results/achievements, be yourself , speak out of your possibility of causing leadership in the new role ( avoid speaking what other people would do, don't be attached to the outcome during the interview itself, ), use creative visualisation techniques to see yourself in the new role, meditate to connect with your inner strength and smile)
6.) Believe that you have already cleared the interview, and now you are taking actions to receive that outcome.

For any promotional interview, you need to be consciously aware of your roles and responsibilities of your existing profile and should be thorough with the add ons in those at the seniority level. No wonder, for every promotional interview you need to be good with your people's skill which comes only when you are confident about the language as well as yourself. (When I say confident, it doesn't mean certain byhearting answers for the certain questions in the interview) accompanied by an exceptional level of soft skills.
