Brief about the course
It is a common observation and experience that professionals who are exceptionally good in managing people and people relationships at work (could be clients, superiors, peers and team members) excel in their work too. They are respected by all, irrespective of whether they work for an organization or have their own business.
Managing people effectively and efficiently is both a science and an art. For few it comes naturally, and for few others it can shine with practice. But the universal fact is every person can become an effective people manager.
Especially first time managers are a lot anxious to lead and manage teams. There is an increased responsibility on them to interact directly with clients, make presentations, effectively communicate and also bind their team together. These new responsibilties often require additional skills.
Understanding people and empathizing with them is the very first step in this journey. This would lead managers to understand "why people behave the way they behave" and their significant role in the journey of leading and managing their teams.
This course titled "How to build great people management skills at work" is of a total of twenty hours duration and is filled with various hands-on activities to help the managers acquire the required skills.
