I am Prof. Raju Masand, I have total 5 years of experience. I have been teaching to Engineering students. I love to teach, I have passion for teaching, I have many ways of teaching depending on the students grasping power. I teach with giving simple examples which can be easily understood by students. Development of Java started in the late 80's. But It was launched in 1991 with name OAK by James gosling and 3 more people. First version was not so successful so they launched second version. Java8 and Oracle is whole and sole responsible for the activities of Java.

Presently is swings and applets are important in java ?

Yes Swing is important to learn the basic desktop application development. Below are all java stand alone developemnt tools or technologies - Swing, SWT, AWT, SwingX, JGoodies, JavaFX, Apache Pivot. JavaFX is in much use now a days. But swing is still used as it is the oldest technology !

Machine means any hardware configuration which includes processor (16-it, 32 bit, 64 bit, etc) and also if the language is portable and machine independent then it can run on any operating system environment ! Will finally block get executed if the exception had not occurred?

Hi. Finally block always executes no matter exception has been caught or not. finally block is used to close your all connections like any database, socket, file, any other resources.
