Let's say the no is X X÷15= Y+14 X÷16= Z+15 If Y=X+1 And Z= X+1 We will get the no which is directly divisible by 15 and 16. So we calculate the Lowest common multiple of 15 and 16. We get 240. Now we need to subtract 1 from it to get the exact no. Therefore the answer is 239

Let's say the no is X

X÷15= Y+14

X÷16= Z+15

If Y=X+1

And Z= X+1

We will get the no which is directly divisible by 15 and 16.

So we calculate the Lowest common multiple of 15 and 16. We get 240.

Now we need to subtract 1 from it to get the exact no.

Therefore the answer is 239

Calculate HCF of 15, 16 = 240. Now 240 is divisible by 15 and 16 both. if we subtract 1 from 240 as 15-14 = 1 and 16-15 = 1. 239 is the required number.

Which book is best, between R.S. Aggarwal’s old edition and R.S. Aggarwal’s latest edition of quantitative aptitude?
My opinion would be latest edition and the only reason is that R.S. Agarwal has tons of error right be it the formulas, solved examples, questions or solutions. As the print newer editions their errors gets rectified.
