I am a Freelancer Soft Skills Trainer. How I can connect with colleges and institutions to provide training?
I would suggest reaching out to the placement officer of those colleges and institutions. In the current situations, try getting the mail ID's of all the colleges from google, prepare the content which you are planning for their colleges and institutions.
Send out an email and formally request them to provide an opportunity to train their students. Before sending out an email, understand the requirements of the college whether they need your services or not.
Prepare a portfolio of the course(s) you offer.
Try to contact key people by writing to the people concerned with the department you are willing to conduct training workshop(s) for.
Highlight in your proposal why should they prefer your services to the other ones available in the similar field. Elaborate why you are a great choice.
read lessGetting into colleges and institutions to provide training can be a little difficult since they already have references and have many people approaching them on a daily basis. So the best way to get into them is through a reference. I would suggest before approaching any colleges or institutions, conduct a couple of sessions of your niche for rotary club members. Many entrepreneurs join the rotary club for networking purposes. You might stumble upon any client if they like your session.
Because I am also a freelance trainer, I developed my online course, and I conduct live online sessions for my clients. If you are keen, you can explore this option as well.
I hope this helps you.
