our mind has an ability to record, when we hear whether it is story, news, conversation or words. So in order to learn something new try to listen first and then apply. As earlier they said to read and watch english stuff, is right. one more thing you need to do is read loud that you can hear and automatically you will learn.

Watch English theatre (online/offline), read classical English Literature short stories, listen to english artists with good diction like Elton John, Bono, Ian Anderson, Enya, Leonard Cohen, Paul Simon, Joan Baes, Marvin Gaye, Belafonte, Sinatra, Rod Stewart etc etc etc youtube shall start feedng you. Watch english news on Doordarshan, NDTV and India Today (then when you gain confidence shift to Times Now and CNN IBN) Listen to BBC radio english. Watch classic television British comedies. Speak, listen write without a hint of self doubt, practice and correct yourself. If you wish to be trained specifically for IELTS, lots of resources available for that. If you do as i say, you can get an 8+ score in 12 weeks.
