You may analyse the available opp as per your risk appetite, Option are following
1. If looking for stable return with Low risk, -
Go for Fixed Deposits , Post office and bond , The expected return 7.5 % to 8.0% returns annually.
Debt Oriented Mutual fund - The expected return are .5% extra than post office and FD .
Note: as your holding time is less than 3 years , you would be liable to pay short term capital gain on your earning .
2. Willing for High Risk, you may get High Returns - Mutual Funds are one option. Investments in Mutual Funds will fetch you around 12 % to 15% returns. But it depends upon the stock market and the fund which you are investing.
