I am looking forward to learn vmware but confuse where to start and what area of vm should I go for? Basically I have upto 7 years experience in networking. But still I am not much practically aware of vmware and vm cloud. I have basic knowledge of it after reading and watching some videos. Please let me know what do I do to learn and which area of vm should I for?

Now a days all the data centres are moving towards could though there are still ample of data centres are still operating as virtual environments, also like IBM bliemix offering to build your virtual infrastructure in their on prem. So learning Vmware is always value add.
