As I can remember the famous one, there is never too late to start. So, start preparing all your learnings what you had done long back and try to get a job (intern or any fresher). Trust me; if you keep hunting for jobs with adequate knowledge and ability, I am sure there would be one company that would hire you.

Hi Bharti,
Apart from all the above excellent answers, I would suggest since you have made your mind for Data Science, I recommend first going through some programming knowledge gaining tutorials, 40% paper-book knowledge and 60% actual use cases. And, then I suggest joining as analyst position in any IT firm at least for 1-2 years so that, you could get into the IT culture and the industry needs. And, while pursuing that job, take an online Data science course from any reputed university (IITs). Afterwards, the more you put in an effort, the more you gain and see success. I hope this would help you; this is my personal experience.
