"I came across Michael in our community email group where my neighbour had recommended him as a fantastic music teacher. I was interested to learn music but was not keen on starting immediately. However, after meeting Micheal, his positive approach to learning encouraged me take up the lessons. I found his teaching method very practical. Spending almost all the time on the instrument and his focus on cultivating an interest in regular practice. Depending upon my progress, Michael would carefully select the next assignment and was not afraid of challenging me a bit more than my readiness. This helped me immensely to make quick progress. Micheal comes from Ghana and has very rich experience in music. I remember him telling me that as a young player in his Church music group, he had to remember 700 pages of music sheets and anytime the conductor could point to any of the pages. "Okay if you read this make sure who read the whole thing. All my life I have done nothing always wanted to do something new but never found the time finally decided I'd start learning an instrument. I called Michael and within 5mins I had my first class. I always thought the guitar was hard to learn but this man teaches me in a way that's down to my level. It's more like a friend teaching me. I've spent almost 2 weeks with him and I have a problem of losing interest in things but now this time he makes the lesson so interesting that one will be waiting for the next lesson.
