It entirely depends on your dedication to the art form. Just consistency and passion are two key things that will keep you on your toe. Find good teachers, not good dancers, because many good dancers are not good teachers and to each of their own. Focus on body conditioning and foundation while training. Also, learn about musicality and the history of the dance style while learning.

Couple of things we need to take care while learning any dance style
1- Your passion and outlook towards the dance style
2- There is not a fixed time or a tenure in which you will learn a dance style. It entirely depends upon an individual, and for everyone it is different
3- Finding a correct instructor or a person who knows that culture and style
4- Practice and conditioning of the body, perhaps taking notes from the instructor and keep on asking them about your feedback as time progress
5- Be Less judgemental or critical about yourself and aim for smaller goals instead aiming for a bigger one.:)
