Teaching Experience in detail in French Language Classes
I have been training people for about 12 years for employment opportunities within India and outside [DELF exams]. I also train people for immigration purposes [TEF/TCF exams]. I am currently a French faculty at symbiosis institute of management and various hotel management institutes. i have also authored a few French books by the name 'French with ease by Avani Kukreja', available on amazon. I take classes over a group to facilitate greater interaction in French, we have multiple dialogues and activities in French for people to get more conversant in the language at the earliest. For more information would request you to attend my free French demo class.

"Good tutor & teaching methods. Should provide more study materials & practices. Rest is fine. Good luck. "

"She has a radically unprofessional approach. I booked her class 3 times and all the time she cancelled me class and all the time reschedule my time. This is not a good sign of teacher. She should respect other people's time. I am very disappointed with her. She has not a professional attitude. "

"My money and time was totally wasted. It was a disappointing experience. Lack of punctuality and concern towards students were the major downs. Professional attitude was totally lacking. "

"I am quite disappointed with my experience and would not recommend her. When I initially enrolled for the A1 level, it was promised that the syllabus would be completed in 30 classes (30 hours). Unfortunately, not even half of the material was covered within that timeframe. One major issue was the inefficient use of class hours. Classes often started late and ended prematurely. Additionally, a considerable amount of time was wasted using Zoom breakout rooms for 45-minute discussions, which could have been better utilized for instruction. Despite suggesting that students practice these discussions in their own time, this approach was consistently used. Although the teacher assured us that additional classes would be added to cover the A1 syllabus, this never materialized due to supposed technical problems with UrbanPro. After a month-long break and numerous complaints from students, classes finally resumed, but without any access to class recordings. In addition, she often teaches with her own book- which is filled with grammatical and spelling mistakes. Aside from the ineffective teaching methods, it feels like the teacher lacks a genuine concern for students' learning experience. All in all, I found it disappointing on both a personal and educational level. "

"I should warn you all to not be fooled by all the orchestrated 5 star ratings. Here's why and I recommend you read till the end: a1 level french is 10k, and only 30 hours? A2 level is 15k and all you get is 35 hours! (30 and 35 are still generously loose numbers, I'll explain why in a minute). She has mastered the art of disguising this information very cleverly. During demo, she will only speak in terms of 'months' instead of hours which won't raise any immediate red flags unless you pay close attention and I was foolish enough to fall for it. Please do some research on other tutors and institutions that offer upwards of 60-70 hours for a1 level alone for the same price. What a massive rip off she is! The reason I said 30 and 35 are loose numbers is because she is notoriously late to every single class by at least 10-15 minutes. She will offer no apologies for keeping the students waiting (I guess its awkward to apologies every class so she has decided not to do it at all). However she will promptly end the class on-time. I call this 'selective-punctuality'. So really, each class is only 45 minutes long. Now you may think '45 minutes is not so bad' but you're wrong. She will finish a couple of topics and 'repeat after me' runs in an average of 20-25 minutes. What are we doing for the remaining 20 minutes?? She stares at her phone while we copy things from the screen into our notebooks in total silence (I hadn't done this since I was 12 years old). Could she make an effort to add a little more value to our money by providing us with some structured study material and spending those precious 20 minutes doing some spontaneous language practice instead? I don't know, maybe it's too much to ask! With all this information, I'll let you calculate the number of hours you're really getting for your buck. She will also promise you 'fun' and 'engaging' sessions and lure you by saying we'll sing songs and watch movies. Beware that her idea of a fun and engaging class is playing some video off the internet, while she turns off the camera and goes mia for the remaining hour. Do I think it's fun and engaging watching a youtube video over a zoom call where the video and audio are severely lagging in a lightning fast language which I have no grasp of so basically everything just flies over my head? Nope! After 15 classes or so I completely stopped attending her sessions, 60-70% of students in my batch stopped showing up after only a few classes. The main reason I'm so disgusted by this woman is because after I let her know that I'm discontinuing, she refused to entertain any refund requests. A decent teacher's first instinct would be to ask why a student wants to quit and find out if the classes were lacking anything (she didn't ask me, maybe it's a boring routine now because her students are quitting all the time?). But she's not in the tutoring business, is she? No, she's in the money business. She can't be bothered to know why one would want to quit her classes as long as she gets to keep all the money. She flatly refused and started pulling out non-existent refund policies out of thin air: "Package deals cannot be refunded... Blah... Blah...". Anyway, she and the urbanpro guys are a great team. When I asked difficult questions they started tossing me back and forth playing the 'its not my fault, it's their fault' game. There are many other fishy details in my case about how my money was deducted after each class which I will not get into here. After my bitter ordeal, I warn you to not trust this platform nor this tutor. I'm fighting an active case against these thieves in national consumer court and will try to make the case details public and expose this company and their shady policies. In the meantime choose and spend wisely because your money did not sprout on trees! "
