Suryanamaskar is the best thing one can do for good. It improves many things like burns fat, activates your energy system in a very different way, improves the cardiovascular system, burns more calories than any other exercise, flexibility and joint mobility also get improved.
But it should be practised carefully. One should go through a couple of preparatory weeks to ensure enough body mobility to finally correct Suryanamaskar.

Lead them by an example. Letting them know there will always be two choices, first healthier one which will reap long term results and the other not so healthy, which will only provide satisfaction for a moment.
And If they come to know the importance of being healthy, then there will not be any need to inspire them. Then, even they will be encouraging others around them.

Based on my personal experience yoga has the dimensions which very less number of people acquire. A lot of people think you are all about getting physical. But when you see the mental and spiritual side of yoga, it expands and gets larger for you. People don't go this way as yoga demands more time and energy with the right habits on a consistent basis.
