Everyone knows that there is no pass or fail. You can take as many attempts as you like & can offer the best score you got. Now for Academic, although it varies from University to University, a total score of Band 7 would give you admission to a better University. Similarly, you should target Band 7 for General Academy for ease of VISA processing; otherwise, a Band of 6.5 will also do; it may take a little longer.
