"I wanted to learn basic conversational German for a trip to Germany, but did not have the time to enrol for a full-time course. We cramped as many classes as we could before I left for my trip and it helped me immensely during my travel. Ketaki was very professional. She set the right expectations at the beginning of the class about how much I will learn and ensured all those topics were covered. "My 11 year old daughter seemed good at languages from a very young age, so I have always wanted her to learn a foreign language. I tried a few teachers who live nearby, but discovered that their approach towards language teaching wasn’t very different from teaching any other school subject. They taught from the point of view of scoring marks. This approach did not work for me as I wanted my daughter to be able to communicate in the language and not just know the grammatical rules of the language. During the pandemic, I enrolled her for a few online German classes with Ketaki and I am very happy with that decision. This is exactly how I thought language learning should be like. Ketaki’s focus is on speaking fluently with the correct pronunciations, followed by reading and writing. My daughter also had a lot of fun, as this was different from rote learning. "
