Let Nitu's present age be 'x ' years.
Then, Mrs. Jain's present age = (x + 27) years.
After 2 years,
Nitu's age = (x +2) years.
Mrs. Jain's age = ( x+27+2) years = (x+29) years.
As per problem,
x+29 = 2(x+2)
Or, x +29 = 2x+4
Or, 2x -x = 29 -4
Or, x = 25.
Hence, Nitu's present age = 25 years
Mrs. Jain's present age = x+27 = 25+27 = 52 years.
