Section 3.2 – In this section, you’ll study what matrix is all about and how numbers are
arranged in the form of rows and columns in a matrix. You’ll also learn the order of
matrix.

Section 3.3 – In this section, you’ll learn about different types of matrices such as row
matrix, column matrix, square matrix, diagonal matrix, scalar matrix, identity matrix,
zero matrix.

Section 3.4 – In this section, you’ll acquire knowledge about various operations on
matrices such as addition, multiplication of a matrix by a scalar and difference of
matrices, properties of matrix addition and multiplication.

Section 3.5 – Here, you’ll learn what transpose of a matrix is and special types of
matrices such as symmetric and skew-symmetric matrices, properties of the transpose of
