IdentityAs an experienced educator with eleven years of teaching, I am proud to have pursued my passion and turned it into a career. I hold a BSC and a B.ed degree, contributing to my success in teaching. My journey began with two years of experience teaching preschoolers at Kidzee play school, and Children Home play school in Madurai. I have worked in various educational settings, from Montessori preschools to primary schools. I spent time at SM Metric school in Nagacole, SOCRETIES Matriculation school in Tiruvanveli, and Ashvatha school in Madurai. At Ashvatha school, I was recognised as the best teacher and awarded the Topper Teacher Award.
Ever since I was a child, I have always been drawn to teaching. Something about the process of imparting knowledge and seeing children learn and grow has always resonated with me. I teach Phonics, Tamil language, and Maths up to the first-fifth grade levels. In addition to in-person classes, I also conducted online courses for students who could not attend school. I believe every child should have access to education, and online courses helped me reach students who may have otherwise been left behind.
My lesson plans always include a revision class where I review the previous course's material. This helps students retain the information better and ensures they stay caught up. I use a whiteboard and provide students with worksheets to practice what they have learned. My passion for teaching has driven me to excel in my field, and I am grateful for the opportunities I have had to work with children from diverse backgrounds.
