These are very important techniques while learning yoga for beginners.
1. While starting yoga, first of all, warming up exercises must do, and pranayam should be done for relaxation and at the end of the practice of pranayam must do. This is more beneficial.
2. Every Asanas should do systematically and relaxed manner and without jerky manners. In the halasan, with one leg, raise the leg upto capacity and while coming down, come slowly
There should be a proper sequence of asanas I.e.sitting
standing lying on the back and lying on the stomach.
Suppose on back pavanmuktasana or setubsndadana did there should be bhujangasana and shalbhasana .to become spine flexible.
Keep a distance of half an hour between yoga and other exercises. After food 3hours gap required after breakfast is half an hour gap
If there are any health issues, yoga practices should be done with the consultation of a doctor and certified yoga teacher. Always do pranayam and yoga under the supervision of a certified yoga teacher.
While practising yoga, if one should observe discipline and punctuality, It will be most effective on the mind and body.
There are eight limbs in the Patanjali yoga sutra
Yam is related to social behaviour
Niyam denotes for every individual to follow the rules
Asanas improve flexibility and strength, and immunity.
Pranayam denotes breathing techniques for mind relaxation
Pratyahar means withdrawal of senses
Dhyan denotes meditation
Dharana denotes relaxation of the mind
Samadhi is final stage in Astamyoga
Yoga can support to control of many diseases like diabetics, high bp and cholesterol thyroid etc
There are three basic breathing techniques
Purak inhalation of breath
Kumbsk retention of breath
Rechak exhalation of breath.
