"The class is going fine. Although l have been attending for a month l'm able to find myself more relaxed. Initially l had some difficulties to do some exercises. I felt so much of pain in my body parts. But later l could feel the pain reduced. Because of my personal works my attendance has been poor, l hope I would be regular in participating. "

Yes, it's safe. You can do pranayama and supine and prone asanas without affecting the knee. We can do some sitting asanas. Also, 35 + is not old age; they are still young. If they are active, so no problem, don't wait; start doing.
