Why are Social Sciences subjective? It creates lot of confusion. Isn't it?
To put it briefly, social sciences deal with perceptions and not facts. Gravity cannot be refuted, but any social theory can be because, along with points, it depends on perception. Hence we have a lot of theories on the same topic.
Is it confusing or not? It depends upon how it is taught. If taught right, it can open up your critical thinking skills and makes you realize how reality in itself is subjective. There is no one truth. Everyone has his or her version of the truth. Also, varied perspectives add to your wealth of knowledge.

I'll just say social sciences aim at helping us understand human relationship with its environment. It deals with different human experiences with and in its environment. These experiences are experiments. And every human has various skills at understanding it's the environment; therefore, social sciences talk about these experiences. They are the only way we can understand the environment around us.
