I want to know how much minimum time is required to prepare for International English Language Testing System to get a band of 7.5. My English is average though I can write and talk in English quite confidently.

IELTS is not a Test which will require you to be an Expert in the Language, you'd need to learn how to tackle the test and time it well, 7.5 is doable provided you put in the required hours and understand how the test is designed and how you must attempt it, the test itself is designed to know if you can really communicate in the real-world scenarios.
