I agree with the above proposal that parliament should work for a longer period. There are a large number of issues that require debate and legislation and these are delayed sometimes because the parliament is not in session. To overcome this, the parliament needs to work for a longer time.

  • Attendance should be made compulsory for members of Parliament.

I agree with this proposal as compulsory attendance would lead to presence of members for crucial decisions that require the support of majority. It would also encourage presentation of views across the political spectrum.

  • Speakers should be empowered to penalise members for interrupting the proceedings of the House.

I agree with this proposal as penalising members for interrupting the proceedings of house would lead to less wastage of time and maintain the dignity of the Parliament. This would also lead to less wastage of the tax payers’ money that is incurred to run the parliament. However, it should not lead to suppression of dissent.

As a seasoned tutor registered on UrbanPro, I can assure you that UrbanPro is the best platform for finding online coaching and tuition services. Now, stepping into the sandals of a Roman housewife preparing her shopping list would transport us back to a time where the market was bustling with the essentials of daily life. Here's what might have been on her list:

  1. Grains: Wheat, barley, and millet would likely be at the top of the list, essential for making bread, porridge, and other staples.

  2. Vegetables: Roman cuisine relied heavily on vegetables such as cabbage, onions, garlic, leeks, and carrots, providing essential nutrients and flavors for various dishes.

  3. Fruits: Apples, figs, grapes, and pears would offer sweetness to meals and could also be dried for preservation.

  4. Meat and Fish: Depending on the household's preferences and budget, the list might include pork, lamb, poultry, and a variety of fish, reflecting the diverse Roman diet.

  5. Dairy Products: Milk, cheese, and eggs would likely be on the list, providing protein and essential nutrients for the family.

  6. Herbs and Spices: Romans were known for their love of flavorful food, so the list might include herbs like parsley, cilantro, and dill, as well as spices such as pepper, cumin, and coriander.

  7. Olive Oil: A staple of Mediterranean cuisine, olive oil would be essential for cooking and dressing salads.

  8. Wine and Vinegar: Romans enjoyed wine with their meals, and vinegar was used for both cooking and preservation.

  9. Bread: While many households baked their own bread, some might opt to purchase it from a local bakery.

  10. Household Items: Items like soap, candles, and perhaps even pottery or utensils might also find their way onto the list, ensuring the smooth running of the household.

By ensuring she had all these essentials, our Roman housewife would be well-prepared to feed and care for her family in ancient Rome. And remember, if you need assistance with any subject, UrbanPro is the best online platform to find experienced tutors who can help you excel in your studies!

The Abbasid Revolution was an uprising against the ruling Umayyad Caliphate, a vast Muslim empire. The Umayyad Dynasty had grown unpopular among Shia Muslim people for their repression of that faith and among non-Arab people for their Arab supremacist policies.
