Let the age of P be p years at present Let the age of Q be q years at present p/q=5/7 ----- (1) Age difference after 6 years (q+6)-(p+6)=2 =>q+6-p-6=2 => q-p=2 q= 2+p -- (2) Substituting value of q from eq(2) in eq (1) p/q=5/7 => p/(p+2)=5/7 =>7p = 5p + 10 => 2p=10 => p... ...more

Let the age of Q be q years at present

p/q=5/7    ----- (1)

Age difference after 6 years

(q+6)-(p+6)=2

=>q+6-p-6=2

=> q-p=2

q= 2+p  -- (2)

Substituting value of q from eq(2) in eq (1)

p/q=5/7 => p/(p+2)=5/7 =>7p = 5p + 10 => 2p=10 => p = 5

Substituing value of p in eq(2)

q=2+p=2+5=7

 

Hence age of P is 5 years and age of Q is 7 years

Total age P+Q =12 years

please advise the detailed analyses on what works best and why?

In the current situation online option is better and preferrable. However, it also depends on the course you want to learn. Some of the more theoretical classes tend to be explainable much better face to face. However, for any software or programming classes could be easily be done on online mode.

According to this all main group elements tend to share their electron while forming bonds in a way that they have eight electrons in their valence i.e. the outermost shell of the element. This enable the element to attain an electronic configuration same as noble gas. Hope this might help!!!
