PTE Registration

The registration for PTE exam starts and happens only in the official Pearson website.

In the application form of PTE exam, you have to start filling the following points:

1) Do you know your PTE ID?
Select Yes (if you have a PTE Exam ID) and select No, in case you are a New User in the Pearson PTE website.

2) Title
State Mr, Miss or Mrs (as applicable for the PTE examinee. If you have a qualified Doctorate degree, you can mention the same.)

3) First Name
Mention only your first name (as mentioned in government id or passport).

4) Middle Name
Mention this only if you have a valid middle name (as mentioned in government id or passport).

5) Last name
Here you have to state your surname with the right spelling (as mentioned in government id or passport).

6) Suffix
Here you can mention Jr, Sr, II, III, IV, if that applies for the candidate.

7) Date of Birth (DOB)
State your correct DOB (as mentioned in government id or passport).

8) Email
In the e-mail section, make sure you mention your right and in present use email id. Its in the same e-mail id, that applicants are sent their registration confirmation, score and so on, in the later stage of PTE exam.

Registration ID for PTE exam

To register for PTE exam students need to provide their unique ID code as mentioned in the official document. Bio-metrics collection on the PTE test day

On successful PTE exam registration when you reach the allotted exam center on PTE test day, your bio-metrics will be collected in three forms :

a) Digital image

b) Digital signature

c) Digital Palm Scan

Confirmation e-mail on successful PTE exam registration

On successful PTE exam registration, in the official Pearson website, you will receive an e-mail within two working days. This e-mail confirms your PTE exam registration with a user-id and password for the Pearson website. Do save the login details provided in this e-mail, as it is required for every time you want to access the Pearson website.

Selecting PTE test date and location

On receiving login details for Pearson website, you can use the same to browse in and register your PTE test date and venue. Start from the ‘Schedule Exams’ tab and you will be redirected thereafter.

When you select your preferred date and venue for PTE exam, you will be inquired a series of questions. Please answer them right to proceed to the test confirmation page.

In order to secure your PTE exam booking, you have to make full payment hereafter using online banking facility. The exam fee depends on your time of PTE exam application. If its at the last moment a surplus is charged than the usual fee.

For PTE exam fee payment, students can opt for the following ways : credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or JCB) or debit card (Visa or MasterCard only).
