Both yoga and exercise serves same purpose. Yoga involves body movements, maintain your digestion, burns calories thus helping you loose weight. Exercises too involves movements, burn calories, makes you fit and loose weight. Yoga itself is an exercise. Both needs you to stop eating unhealthy. Only difference between two is yoga gives you long lasting results but it takes time to show those results, while exercising gives you prompt results which might boost your trust but once you stop exercising, all your progress will fade away. You will find yourself at start once again. So choose any, but keep in mind that regularity and satisfaction along with hard work can give you any desired result.
